Begin your tour with a relaxing early-morning departure from Queenstown. Travel along Lake Wakatipu and through picturesque farmland as your guide shares stories about the region wildlife, and alpine environment.

2. Te Anau Café Break + Optional Alpaca Encounter

Pause in the charming lakeside town of Te Anau for a refreshment stop. Enjoy coffee or breakfast at a local café (own cost). If interested, you may visit a nearby alpaca area where guests can see or feed friendly alpacas (optional, depending on availability).

3. Eglinton Valley

Enter Fiordland National Park and step into one of its most dramatic landscapes. The wide, glacier-carved Eglinton Valley is surrounded by steep mountains and golden tussock plains—one of the most photographed stops on the Milford Road.

4. Mirror Lakes

Take a short walk along a scenic boardwalk to see the peaceful Mirror Lakes, famous for their perfect reflection of the surrounding peaks on calm days.

5. Falls Creek

Stop to admire the crystal-clear alpine waters cascading down the rocky mountain slopes. A refreshing, scenic location ideal for photos.

6. Monkey Creek

A favourite stop along the Milford Road where you can drink pure glacier water straight from the creek. Enjoy striking mountain views and a chance to spot local alpine wildlife.

Travel through the historic Homer Tunnel, an engineering masterpiece carved through solid granite. As you emerge from the tunnel, enjoy one of the most dramatic alpine descents in the country.
